Energy Demand Forecasting for Conservation Policy

Submitted to Thailand’s Energy Policy and Planning Office (สำนักงานนโยบายและแผนพลังงาน), these two consecutive projects built forecasting models to support long-term energy conservation planning:

  • Transport Sector Energy Demand Forecasting (2013): Developed econometric models to forecast fuel and energy consumption across transport modes, with BERA Co. Ltd., to support energy conservation targets in the transport sector.

  • Long-Term Electricity Demand Forecasting (2014): Surveyed and updated electricity demand forecasting models for long-term conservation planning across economic sectors (with Suppawat Rungsuriyawibool and team).
