Submitted to Thailand’s Energy Policy and Planning Office (สำนักงานนโยบายและแผนพลังงาน),
these two consecutive projects built forecasting models to support long-term energy
conservation planning:

Transport Sector Energy Demand Forecasting (2013): Developed econometric models
to forecast fuel and energy consumption across transport modes, with BERA Co. Ltd.,
to support energy conservation targets in the transport sector.

Long-Term Electricity Demand Forecasting (2014): Surveyed and updated electricity
demand forecasting models for long-term conservation planning across economic sectors
(with Suppawat Rungsuriyawibool and team).

Promoting Electric Vehicle Adoption in Thailand

Submitted to Thailand’s Energy Conservation Fund (กองทุนอนุรักษ์พลังงาน), this project
examined economic and policy instruments to promote electric vehicle (EV) adoption.
The study covered demand-side fiscal incentives, charging infrastructure planning,
regulatory barriers, and international comparisons of EV promotion strategies to develop
actionable policy recommendations for Thailand’s low-carbon transport transition.

This project studied the regulatory framework and practical guidelines for governing
electricity service tariff rates under Thailand’s Energy Industry Act B.E. 2550
(พระราชบัญญัติการประกอบกิจการพลังงาน พ.ศ. 2550). The work reviewed international
regulatory practices, analysed cost-of-service and performance-based rate-setting
approaches, and developed recommendations for strengthening tariff oversight
(with Nilubon Lerthnuwat and team).
