In collaboration with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thorn Pitidol and team, conducted two related research projects on educational equity in Thailand for the Equity Fund for Education (กองทุนเพื่อความเสมอภาคทางการศึกษา / EEF):

Equity-Based Budgeting for Education (2021): Studied approaches for designing integrated education budgeting systems that prioritise equity outcomes (Equity-based Budgeting for Education), providing a framework for targeting public education spending toward disadvantaged groups (with Chaiyut Panyasawatsutti and team).
Policy Dynamics of Educational Equity in Thailand (2025, ongoing): Examines the evolving policy landscape for educational equity in Thailand over the decade 2015–2025, tracking policy commitments, implementation gaps, and the political economy of reform — supporting evidence-based advocacy for inclusive education policy.

Social Monitoring for Research and Innovation Policy

ASEAN Integration and Inequality (2015): Used economic modelling to assess how Thailand’s participation in the ASEAN Economic Community affects income inequality, and developed recommendations for strengthening social protection systems (with Arayah Preechametta and team).
Current Quarter Model (CQM) for GDP Nowcasting (2016): Developed and refined a Current Quarter Model for estimating quarterly economic growth in near real-time, supporting NESDC’s macroeconomic monitoring and planning functions (with Pranee Tinakorn and team).

Index Forecasting Model (2004): Developed a forecasting model for economic trade indices for the Office of Trade and Economic Indices (สำนักดัชนีเศรษฐกิจการค้า), Ministry of Commerce (with Thatri Jantarakolika and Pawin Siriprapanut).
Macroeconomic Forecasting Model (2012): Built a macroeconomic model for economic projection under the mandate of the Office of Macroeconomic Trade Policy (สำนักนโยบายเศรษฐกิจการพาณิชย์มหภาค), Ministry of Commerce.

New e-Budgeting System Design (2022): Analysed and designed the conceptual framework for a new electronic budget management system (New e-Budgeting), covering system architecture, workflow design, and data integration requirements to modernise Thailand’s public financial management infrastructure.

Alcohol Policy Impact Assessment in Thailand

As principal investigator, led two major policy evaluation projects on alcohol regulation in Thailand, funded by the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (สสส.) and the Centre for Alcohol Studies (ศวส.):

CPTPP and Alcohol Consumption (2021): Assessed the projected impact of Thailand joining the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) on alcohol consumption, modelling how trade liberalisation would affect domestic alcohol markets and public health outcomes.
Alcohol Deregulation Impact Assessment (2023): Evaluated the economic, health, and social consequences of three proposed deregulation scenarios: (1) allowing small-scale alcohol producers, (2) relaxing time-of-sale restrictions, and (3) designating special alcohol tourism zones. Macroeconomic Impact of Transport Infrastructure Investment
